Premium suede upper. Soft pig-skin lining and insole. With gentle care, suede doesn’t wear out — it wears in. The natural leather inside moulds gently to the shape of your foot, creating a fit that becomes truly yours.
Shockproof

A discreet 2 mm shock-absorbent layer is laminated between the sole and your foot — invisible from the outside, life-changing on a marble lobby floor. Most barefoot shoes pretend hard urban floors are forest soil. We don’t.
How they fit
Liilia is shaped foot-first — wider at the toes, snug at the heel, with a low instep that hugs without pressing. Most fashion shoes do the opposite, which is why a Barest “true to size” can feel different from what you’re used to.
If you’re new to barefoot shoes: expect a roomier feeling at the toes. That’s the point. Your foot has space to splay naturally.

Find your size at home
Measure once with a sheet of paper. The result is more reliable than any size you “always” wear.
- Stand on paper, heel against the wall.
- Mark the tip of your longest toe.
- Measure in mm. Take the longer of the two feet.
- Match the foot-length column in the table.

Care for the suede
Suede is forgiving, but it asks for gentle hands. A few minutes a month and they’ll outlast almost any leather shoe.
- Brush in long, gentle strokes with a dedicated suede brush.
- Apply a water-and-stain repellent spray before first wear and every season after.
- If they get wet, stuff with paper and let dry away from direct heat.
- Lift fresh stains with a clean cloth — never water. Dry brush after.
- Store in the cotton dustbag they came in. Rotate pairs between wears.

Repair, don't replace
Soles wear out long before the upper does. We’d much rather see your favourite pair re-soled than tossed.
- Send any pair back to our Tallinn workshop for a re-sole — flat fee €45.
- Insole replacements: €18, fitted while you wait if you’re in town.
- Suede refresh (brush, recolour, re-spray) on request.
- Repair turnaround: 2–3 weeks including shipping.

What's the difference between Liilia and Monstera?
Same last, same construction, same materials. Liilia is the clean solid-colour silhouette. Monstera introduces a quiet contrasting stripe across the toe box for a slightly more graphic look. Pick whichever speaks to you — they fit identically.
Are they suitable for wide feet?
Yes. Liilia is shaped foot-first — wider at the toes than at the heel, which is the opposite of most fashion shoes. Wearers with wide feet are usually the happiest first-time customers.
Are they suitable for narrow feet?

How do they feel on city pavement?
That’s specifically why we designed the 2 mm impact-cushioning layer. Pure-barefoot shoes can feel punishing on concrete and tile. Liilia keeps the ground-feel of barefoot but adds a discreet shock buffer between you and hard urban surfaces.
Will I notice the difference if I've never worn barefoot shoes?
Almost immediately. The wide toe box gives your feet room to spread, and the zero-drop sole lets your posture settle into its natural alignment. A short two-week transition is normal as the small muscles in your feet do a bit more of the work they were designed for.
